87002 has just arrived at Birmingham New Street on the 16:51 from Euston on 17th October 2006. A very poor photograph, I'm afraid, but this is 87002 hauling 16th February 2009's 6J37 Carlisle - Chirk Timber Train along the Up Goods Loop/Up Slow at Warrington Bank Quay. The train loco 57305 had failed at Walton Old Jn and the 87, which was on Royal Mail standby duties at the nearby Dallam RMT, was utilised to clear the line. 2009-02-16 19:12:28 |
